Our vision

T O C H ‘s guiding principle is Tesla’s mission to “accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable mobility and energy” and it is our goal to live this out of conviction. We do this for ourselves, for all people, for our descendants and because we want an intact environment.

Why what we do is important

We know that burning fossil fuels releases the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide, which is the main cause of global warming. Mobility is the biggest contributor worldwide.
We want to contribute to making the mobility of the future electric, because the electric motor has a very high efficiency and can be powered by renewable resources such as water, sun, wind, etc.

Our contribution

We recognise the achievements of Tesla’s founders and the efforts of its employees to put fantastic, future-proof vehicles on the road. We want to help electromobility become established in Switzerland as quickly as possible.

We want to network with each other. Primarily in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, but also with other Tesla Owners Clubs, with electric mobility and renewable energy organisations and with Tesla, primarily in Switzerland, Europe and the rest of the world.

Our social and political commitment

We are socially and specifically politically active, taking a stand on public requirements for legislative changes at federal, cantonal and municipal level when it comes to sustainability in mobility and energy. We are the point of contact for authorities, the media and interested parties.
We are on the sunny side of the world and are aware of this. We therefore want to do good and bring joy to the disadvantaged in society.

We do educational and persuasive work

We help to combat prejudice, misunderstandings and a lack of knowledge on the subject of electromobility and energy supply through persuasion and education. We share our knowledge and experience with each other and with all interested parties.
We regularly organise events for association members and the public and organise ourselves into regional sections and topic-specific working groups.

How we do this

We work efficiently, financially and resource-efficiently using modern tools. We collect facts and knowledge and make this available to the public.
We cultivate and enjoy the life of the association and treat each other with respect.
We take this mission statement seriously, endeavour to live by it and do not work in a profit-oriented manner.
